In 1958, Dan Ledley started a simple catering service, delivering hot coffee, donuts, and lunch to workers at companies and job-sites throughout Putnam County. With the help of his wife Patricia, their five children, and many friends and associates, the business expanded and Ledley Food Service began catering barbecues, family events, and weddings, eventually moving into a 5000-square foot commissary, warehouse, and office location in Brewster, NY. Today, Ledley Food Service is still family owned with son, Brian, and his family, presiding over the company as one of the area’s top caterers for corporate and private events.
We pride ourselves on our customer satisfaction and careful attention to your specific needs. We work directly with you to ensure that your event is a success. Since 2002, Ledley Food Service has been the food and beverage operator at Centennial Golf Course in Carmel, NY, the area’s preeminent Daily Fee Golf Facility, managing the on-site restaurant and catering of all golf and social events with a full kitchen, bar, and wait staff.

For over 35 years, Ledley Food Service has been the proud caterer of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, servicing the parade crews that inflate the giant balloons and build the festive floats.
